Job summary

Mesa Natural Gas Solutions in Dickinson, ND is seeking an entry-level Shop Apprentice to support technicians with light mechanical repair and preventive maintenance on IC engines and natural gas generators. Under general supervision, you will wash units, move generators with a forklift, and assist with inspections while learning on-the-job.

Qualifications include a high school diploma, a valid driver's license, and a willingness to learn.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• No prior experience required; entry level.
• Forklift experience is a plus.
• Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license.
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn are essential.

Responsibilities

• Wash units, trucks and equipment inside and out.
• Perform preventive maintenance on equipment (pressure washer).
• Move generator units using a forklift.
• Perform forklift inspections daily, weekly and monthly.
• Assist shop mechanics with parts installation and inspections.
• Maintain clean and organized work area and tools.
• Perform light mechanical work on engines and generators.
• Other duties as assigned.
