Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; Associate’s degree preferred.
• Minimum 3 years experience in an administrative or supervisory role within transportation, warehousing, or a related industry.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and experience with inventory or maintenance management systems.
• Strong organizational skills to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to interact with diverse teams and external partners.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily administrative activities within the shop to ensure efficient workflow.
• Manage scheduling and dispatching of maintenance and repair work orders with shop and logistics teams.
• Maintain accurate records of inventory, equipment maintenance, timekeeping, and compliance documents.
• Serve as the primary contact for internal and external communications related to shop operations.
• Train, mentor, and evaluate administrative staff to promote development and high performance.
• Improve administrative processes and systems to boost efficiency and data accuracy.
• Ensure compliance with transportation and warehousing regulations, safety standards and company policies.
• Prepare reports and presentations for management to support decision-making.
