Job summary

International Marine and Industrial Applicators, LLC is seeking a Structural Foreman in San Diego, CA to oversee welding and cutting on designated projects, ensuring work meets industry standards and client expectations. This is a full-time, non-exempt position with a pay range of $36.00-$41.00 per hour DOE.

The role reports to the Superintendent and requires supervisory experience, with location at shipyard sites and customer facilities. Some travel may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• OSHA 10 Maritime Standards preferred or company may provide.
• Experience supervising welding operations is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Supervises welding and cutting of products and structures.
• Analyzes work orders and blueprints to determine supplies and sequence.
• Requisitions supplies such as weld rods, wire, gases and fixtures.
• Inspects work to ensure quality and standards.
• Trains workers in equipment operation.
• Sets up machines and conducts trial welds.
• Supervises fitting and assembly of structural frames.

Education
