Job summary

Qualifications

2+ years of experience in electrical installation, maintenance, and repair.
Knowledge of temporary lighting and power distribution systems.
Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and blueprints.
Experience with cable assemblies, extensions, and basic electrical components.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills for electrical systems and equipment.
Understanding of electrical safety standards and procedures (e.g., lockout/tagout).
Ability to work in physically demanding environments, including confined spaces, heights, and outdoors.
Willingness to work in various settings, including facilities, pier-side, and aboard ships.
Attention to detail and safety commitment.
Ability to work overtime if needed.
Commercial/industrial electrical experience preferred; familiarity with NEC and load calculations.

Responsibilities

Build, install, repair, and maintain temporary lighting and power distribution equipment.
Support installation and maintenance of temporary light and power installations across facilities, pier-side, aboard ships, and shops.
Troubleshoot and repair electrical equipment to ensure safe and reliable operations.
