Job summary

Venture Dynamics is actively seeking Shipyard PipeFitters to join our team at the Seattle shipyard. You will perform pipe fitting and welding tasks to NAVSEA standards, including torch cutting, pipe cleaning, and fittings in complex positions with limited clearance. The role starts in November and runs 6-12+ months with a typical 40-60 hour week and overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• Updated resume to be sent to the client for approval.
• US citizenship with proof (birth cert, Real ID, passport).
• Maritime OSHA 10 certification required.
• Previous shipyard experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Torch cut, clean, and true pipes per NAVSEA standards.
• Assess job sites, especially where combustible materials exist, for hot work safety.
• Work from blueprints, schematics, and specifications per NAVSEA standards.
• Perform basic pipe fitting.
• Experience with x-ray testing of welds to ensure structural integrity.
