Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 30 hours of OSHA training.
• First aid/CPR certification.
• One year of HSE-related work experience.
• Experience implementing safety processes.
• Experience with gas detection equipment.
• Knowledge of OSHA, EPA, USCG, NFPA standards.
• Ability to recognize risks in shipyard environments.
• Ability to enter confined spaces for checks.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PPT, Outlook, Adobe).
• Experience is a plus; training available.

Aufgaben

• Keep workers safe and reduce near-misses in shipyard work areas.
• Review, investigate, and analyze health, safety, and environmental data.
• Perform field monitoring and sampling for safety compliance.
• Conduct risk assessments and implement corrective actions.
• Provide training and maintain PPE stock and records.
• Serve as first responder and deliver basic emergency assistance.
• Maintain up-to-date safety documentation and records.
