Job summary

Interstate Group, LLC is hiring a Yard Staff / Shipping Associate in Nampa, ID. This full-time role focuses on loading, packaging, and staging finished trailers and components for shipping. You will ensure accurate labeling, bills of lading, and timely deliveries while working with the Shipping team.

The job requires operating forklifts and pallet jacks, performing quality checks, and maintaining yard organization in a fast-paced environment across all weather conditions.

Qualifications

• Understanding of freight logistics and DOT regulations.
• Experience operating forklifts and pallet jacks in a manufacturing/yard setting.
• Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Detail-oriented with accurate shipping documentation.
• Strong multitasking and problem-solving to manage schedules and carrier demands.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and package trailers, parts, and accessories for transport.
• Load and unload using forklifts and pallet jacks.
• Document labels, bills of lading, and packing slips; coordinate with Shipping Coordinator.
• Conduct quality checks on outgoing products before shipment.
• Organize yard inventory and assist production teams.
