What we are looking for:

Shipping prepares incoming and outgoing products for distribution.

What you'll be responsible for in this role:

• Building OSB and carboard boxes
• Build pallets with use of hand and power tools
• Prep products for shipment
• Wrap cases and ensure proper instructions are included
• May load cases with forklift
• Clean cases and workstation as needed
• Take pictures of product
• Inventory control
• Quality inspection of parts
• Picking and packing items to ship
• Identify power and hand tools used on their assigned product line
• Read rulers, tape measurers, metal squares, and other measuring instruments
• Fasten parts together with bolts, nails, screws, speed clips, rivets, or fasteners
• Update computer systems with shipment information and may be responsible for basic data entry
• Work at different workstations as production needs require
• Maintain the work area in a clean, safe, and orderly manner
• Use proper safety equipment and apparel required for each operation on individual's product line or work cell
• Perform other duties as assigned

Physical Demands:

• Occasionally - Pushing/Pulling, Keyboarding, Neck Rotation/Extension, Visual Acuity (Near/Far), and Lift/Carry up to 50lbs alone and 75lbs assisted
• Frequently - Sitting, Stooping/Twisting, Reaching, Gripping, and Lift/Carry up to 50lbs
• Constantly - Standing and Walking
