Job summary

Axalta in Mount Clemens, MI is seeking a Warehouse Operator (Forklift Driver) to handle forklift tasks, inventory checks, and material movement in a high-demand chemical coatings environment. You will work afternoon shift 2:00pm–10:30pm, pass background/Drug test, and meet education/experience requirements; training includes DOT/IATA, ISO-9001, TS-16949 contexts; safety PPE required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 2 years warehouse experience.
• Minimum 1 year forklift driving experience.
• Experience with chemicals is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Driver: pick and deliver stock to production floor; unload inbound trailers; ensure inventory accuracy.
• Checker: process and clear customer orders; label and sort goods; verify inbound/outbound shipments.
• Drum/Tote Handler: move drums/totes; inventory on site; scan containers into the system.
• Additional: ship FedEx packages, support cycle counts, assist with material movements.
