Job summary

Axalta is seeking a Warehouse Operator in Mt. Clemens, MI. The role involves forklift driving, material handling, and supporting inbound/outbound shipments to ensure inventory accuracy and timely deliveries.

Candidates need 2+ years in warehouse work and 1 year forklift experience; a high school diploma or GED is required. Must be able to pass background and drug tests, and lift up to 50 lbs regularly.

Qualifications

• Must have at least 2 years warehouse experience and 1 year forklift driving experience.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Experience with chemicals is a plus.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly.

Responsibilities

• Drive forklift and deliver stock to production floor; unload inbound trailers.
• Check, process, and stage shipments; ensure inventory accuracy.
• Prepare and load outbound shipments; coordinate with carriers.
• Assist with cycle counts; maintain area safety and housekeeping.
• Operate hand-held scanners and related warehouse equipment.
