Job summary

Amrize is seeking a Shipping Technician at the Midlothian Cement Plant TX to perform loading of rail and truck shipments, weigh and transport cement products, and deliver excellent customer service.

The role requires operating forklifts and light equipment, verifying shipment paperwork, and recording data, with a strong emphasis on safety and process adherence. This is a full-time on-site position at the cement plant offering competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1-2 years basic industrial, mechanical, or shipping experience; 2-4 years preferred.
• General computer proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor loads of outgoing trucks and rail cars.
• Operate forklift, rail car mover, and other light equipment.
• Verify accuracy of shipment paperwork.
• Record data and adjust operations based on data collected.
• Participate in training and cross-training activities.
• Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean, orderly work area.
• Assist with preventative maintenance on equipment.
