Job summary

Tanis Brush is seeking a Shipping Technician to join our fast‑paced operations. You will move products from our Wisconsin facility to customers worldwide, handling shipping, receiving, and material flow with accuracy and attention to detail.

The role requires flexibility in a hands‑on manufacturing environment, with opportunities to contribute to process improvements and team success. 1–3 years of experience and a valid Wisconsin driver’s license are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1–3 years shipping, receiving, warehouse, or material handling experience preferred.
• Forklift certification or material handling equipment experience is a plus.
• Valid Wisconsin driver’s license, or ability to obtain one.

Responsibilities

• Pick, pack, label, and stage customer orders with accuracy.
• Prepare shipping paperwork and coordinate carrier pickups.
• Verify order details, quantities, and product labeling before shipment.
• Safely load and unload incoming and outgoing freight.
• Operate warehouse and production equipment (saws, drills, presses, trimmers).
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safety-focused work environment.
• Identify quality concerns and help resolve issues before products leave the facility.
• Provide cross-department support as business needs evolve.

Position Summary

The Shipping Technician is a vital part of our operations team, ensuring products move accurately and efficiently from our facility to customers around the world. This fast‑paced role combines shipping, receiving, material handling, and production support responsibilities, requiring adaptability, attention to detail, and a team‑first mindset.

No two days look exactly alike—you'll help keep operations flowing by responding to changing priorities, incoming deliveries, customer orders, and production demands.

Schedule

1st Shift

• Monday - Friday
• 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
• No weekends

Pay & Benefits

$20-$22 per hour

In addition, employees may be eligible for an annual performance bonus based on both individual and company success.

What You'll Do

• Pick, pack, label, and stage customer orders with accuracy and efficiency
• Prepare shipping paperwork and coordinate carrier and freight pickups

• Contribute ideas that improve processes, efficiency, and overall operations
• Provide support across departments as business needs evolve

What We're Looking For

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment
• Basic math skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division
• Ability to read blueprints, specifications, and measuring devices
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• A positive attitude and willingness to pitch in where needed

Education & Experience

• High school diploma or GED required
• 1-3 years of shipping, receiving, warehouse, or material handling experience preferred
• Forklift certification or material handling equipment experience is a plus
• Valid Wisconsin driver's license, or the ability to obtain one

Work Environment & Physical Requirements

This role is based in an active warehouse and light manufacturing environment.

Employees should be comfortable:

• Standing and walking throughout the workday
• Regularly lifting and moving materials up to 50 pounds
• Operating warehouse and production equipment safely
• Wearing required PPE, including safety glasses and hearing protection
