Job summary

Tanis Brush in Delafield, Wisconsin seeks a hands-on Machine Operator to set up and operate equipment, inspect parts, and maintain a clean, safe workspace. You will contribute to smooth production and teamwork in a manufacturing setting.

  • Inspect products using precision measuring tools to ensure quality.
  • Perform basic preventive maintenance and minor repairs.
  • Maintain accurate production records and keep work area organized.

Job description

Position Summary

As a Machine Operator, you’ll play a key role in producing high‑quality parts that meet customer specifications. You’ll set up and operate equipment, perform inspections, maintain a clean and safe workspace, and help ensure our production runs smoothly.

This role is hands‑on, team‑oriented, and essential to our success. If you enjoy working with tools, solving problems, and taking pride in a job well done, this is a great opportunity to grow your career.

Pay Range

First Shift (10 hour shift): $21–$30/hr.
Second Shift (10 hour shift): $21–$23/hr. to start, with advancement up to $30/hr.
Weekend Shift (12 hour shift): $21–$23/hr. to start, with advancement up to $30/hr.

Shift Premiums & Incentives
  • +$2/hr. premium for 2nd shift
  • Weekend shift employees with perfect attendance earn 4 extra paid hours per week
  • All employees may be eligible for an annual performance bonus
Schedules
  • 1st Shift: Mon–Thu, 5am–3pm
  • 2nd Shift: Mon–Thu, 2:45pm–12:45am
  • Weekend Shift: Fri–Sun, 5am–5pm

What You’ll Do

What You Bring
  • High School Diploma or GED (Associate degree is a plus)
  • 1–3 years of machinist or machine operation experience preferred, but not required
  • Basic math, measuring, and computer skills

  • Willingness to learn, grow, and contribute to a positive team environment
Physical Requirements

This role involves:

  • Standing, walking, or moving for extended periods
  • Lifting, pulling, or pushing up to 50 lbs.
  • Using hand tools and machine tools
  • Wearing appropriate PPE (glasses, shoes, earplugs; occasionally face shields, aprons, etc.)
  • Working in a typical factory environment with some exposure to dust, noise, fumes, and oils
