Gem State Staffing seeks a dependable Shipping Technician to support daily shipping, production, and warehouse operations in a manufacturing environment in Burley, Idaho. You will operate equipment, maintain records, and follow safety procedures while adapting to changing priorities.

Responsibilities include organizing shipments, data entry, and collaborating with the Shipping Supervisor and production teams. A high school diploma and ability to obtain forklift certification are required.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily shipping and material-handling duties.
• Organize and prioritize work according to production and shipping schedules.
• Operate pallet jacks and other equipment safely.
• Maintain or obtain forklift certification as required.
• Follow shipping procedures and company safety standards.
• Maintain accurate records and complete basic data entry.
• Communicate with the Shipping Supervisor, production team, leads, and other departments.
• Provide support and training on shipping procedures after becoming proficient.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
• Assist other production areas when needed.
• Manage multiple tasks while meeting deadlines and changing priorities.
• Handle and store chemicals and hazardous materials according to company procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
