Responsibilities

• Lead shipping team in execution of daily operations, including improving efficiency of tasks and management of warehouse resources.
• Coordinate daily activities of forklift operators.
• Manage loading/unloading of trucks with team resources.
• Check-in drivers and verify correct load numbers; print bills of lading.
• Ensure team adheres to safety protocols; conduct daily safety meetings.
• Assist in training of new hires.
• Report to supervisor on team and individual progress and issues.
• Assist with physical inventory of raw materials or finished goods; ensure accuracy of inventory processes.
• Carry out other duties to support daily operations as needed.
