Qualifications

• Strong mechanical aptitude with a variety of production equipment.
• Ability to problem solve and make independent decisions.
• Ability to display diplomacy in day-to-day interactions with urgency.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Observe and enforce safety rules; train subordinates in SOPs and safety permits.
• Monitor quality; take action to prevent off-grade material or product.
• Meet established cost standards; teach efficient use of equipment and materials.
• Relay information from management to subordinates and maintain cross‑department communication.
• Oversee repairs and maintenance to production line equipment.
• Provide input to plant management on employee performance.
• Maintain professional relationships within the department, company, and community.
