Job summary

Tate Americas, a key business within Kingspan Data Solutions, is seeking a Team Leader for its production department in Virginia. The role directs daily activities, drives safety compliance, and supports employee development to deliver high-quality products on time and at target costs.

You will manage shipping, manifests, and export documentation, while coordinating with customer service and the packing team. A strong safety culture and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 8–10 years’ supervisory experience in manufacturing preferred.
• Must be computer literate, including proficiency with Microsoft Office Products.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for an 8-hour shift.

Responsibilities

• Direct department safety, enforce PPE usage and safety policies.
• Verify packing lists and label shipments, assign staging for shipping.
• Prepare manifests and loading diagrams to ensure weight limits are met.
• Process SA transactions to create customer invoices.
• Complete export manifests and coordinate with customer service for job requests.
• Prepare all Canada documentation for shipments and adjust inventory as needed.
• Collaborate with teammates to cover shifts and maintain production throughput.
• Maintain housekeeping and follow established safety procedures.
