Qualifications

• Active dangerous goods certification with authority to train others.
• Experience with shipping systems, documentation, and freight coordination.
• Ability to lift, move, and assist with shipments as required.
• Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily shipping activities including packing, labeling, documentation, and coordination with carriers.
• Ensure shipments are accurate, on time, and aligned with customer and company requirements.
• Coordinate staging and movement of finished goods from production to shipping.
• Maintain accurate shipping logs and reporting.
• Serve as the subject-matter expert for dangerous goods regulations (carrier-specific rules).
• Ensure hazardous/dangerous goods shipments comply with federal and carrier requirements.
• Train and certify shipping associates under approved dangerous goods programs.
• Provide hands-on coaching related to shipping procedures, safety, and quality standards.
• Act as a lead resource on the floor and escalate issues to the Warehouse Supervisor.
