Job summary

Dogwood Industries is seeking a Shipping Supervisor to lead the shipping team in our Everett, WA factory. You will oversee production flow, coordinate loadouts, ensure quality, safety, and on-time shipments of custom prefabricated buildings and components.

Ideal candidates bring strong leadership, experience directing shipping operations in a manufacturing setting, and a commitment to safety, detail, and continuous improvement. This is an onsite, full-time role with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

Ability to execute and train advanced shipping and loadout tasks including rigging, bolting, and verifying panels for shipment.
Ability to direct crew, following load plans and bolt‑up requirements, making real‑time decisions when needed to ensure safety and shipment integrity.
Ability to perform and train quality control checks, verifying foam installation, ridge plates, flashing, and bolting are correct.
Ability to direct the operation of all non‑specialized metal working equipment
Understanding of how to implement visual inspection criteria in pre‑QC work checks

Responsibilities

Directs shipping team to complete projects on time and within budget.
Mentors crew members to achieve personal and team improvement.
Ensures quality assurance by meeting QC hold points and proactively addressing issues.
Develops and adjusts work plans based on drawings and scheduling changes.
Upholds safety standards and applies Cardinal Rules of Safety in daily tasks
