Qualifications

• Undergraduate or associate’s degree in engineering or related technical field preferred.
• 5 years’ manufacturing supervisory experience in related industry.
• Dynamic and engaging leadership skills.
• High level of mechanical and ironwork aptitude.
• Proficient in MS Office Suite.
• Familiarity with ISO 9000 standards.
• Experience in Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, and continuous improvement desirable.
• Interpret technical drawings and schematics.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules and operating instructions.
• Ability to calculate figures and apply basic algebra and geometry.
• Ability to solve practical problems with limited standardization.

Responsibilities

• Provide oversight and manage activities of workers preparing packages and products for shipping.
• Coordinate with other sites on products shipped and destination.
• Support safety initiatives and complete required paperwork.
• Document incidents and conduct root cause analyses.
• Monitor productivity and adjust to production standards.
• Ensure equipment is tracked, maintained, and available.
• Lead and direct material handlers and assemblers.
• Promote cross-training for a versatile workforce.
• Recruitment and hiring support for plant personnel.
• Contribute to cost control and implementation of improvements.
