Job summary

RJW Logistics Group in Plainfield, IL is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to lead a shift and keep products moving safely, accurately and on time.

You will develop the team, plan labor and work assignments, and ensure orders are picked, staged, loaded and shipped to meet customer requirements while upholding a strong safety and quality culture on the dock.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of warehouse supervisory/managerial experience in a fast-paced distribution or logistics environment.
• Ability to lead and motivate a diverse team while upholding safety, accuracy, productivity and attendance.
• Experience planning labor and work assignments in a high-volume operation.
• Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS); strong computer and data entry skills.
• Clear communication; ability to set expectations and collaborate with internal/external partners.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and develop a team of warehouse associates to meet or exceed customer expectations.
• Plan, prioritize and assign daily work to align labor and equipment with volume, service commitments and customer requirements.
• Ensure orders are picked, staged, loaded and shipped accurately, on time and per RJW standards/Customer specifications.
• Oversee documentation and system transactions (BOLs, manifests, receipts, adjustments).
• Champion safety and quality culture on the dock and drive continuous improvement.

Schedule/Shift:

Wednesday - Saturday (E Shift), 3:30 PM - 2:30 AM (Hours may vary based on business needs)

Salary:

$65-$70k annual

Make an Impact in Our Warehouse Operations

As a Warehouse Supervisor at RJW, you lead a team that keeps our customers’ products moving safely, accurately and on time. You set the tone on the floor, bringing a strong focus on safety, quality and productivity while developing the associates who make it all happen.

What You Will Do

• Lead, coach and develop a team of warehouse associates to meet or exceed customer expectations.
• Plan, prioritize and assign daily work to align labor and equipment with volume, service commitments and customer requirements.
• Ensure all orders are picked, staged, loaded and shipped accurately, on time and in compliance with customer specifications and RJW standards.
• Oversee accurate, timely documentation and system transactions (BOLs, manifests, receipts, adjustments and other required paperwork).
• Champion a strong safety and quality culture on the dock and in the warehouse, driving continuous improvement.
• Partner with Customer Solutions/Customer Service and other supervisors to resolve issues, ensure smooth shift handoffs and deliver a consistent experience for associates and customers.

What You Bring

• Minimum of 3+ years of previous warehouse supervisory/managerial experience in a fast-paced distribution or logistics environment.
• Proven ability to lead and motivate a diverse team while holding high standards for safety, accuracy, productivity and attendance.
• Experience planning labor and work assignments in a high-volume, deadline-driven operation.
• Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS); strong overall computer and data entry skills.
• Clear and confident communication skills - able to set expectations, give feedback and partner effectively with internal teams and external partners.
• Commitment to continuous improvement and a “roll up your sleeves” approach to supporting the operation.
