Job summary

JBS Foods in Colorado is seeking a Shipping Supervisor to oversee daily shipping operations, ensuring timely loading and accurate scanning of orders.

You will read orders, supervise a large team, train new staff, monitor safety, and drive attendance and performance. This role demands 1–2 years in shipping and proven people management, with availability for Saturdays and some Sundays.

• Inspect materials, products, or equipment to detect defects or malfunctions
• Ensure products are loaded on the trailers correctly and in a timely manner
• Demonstrate equipment operations and work and safety procedures to new employees, or assign employees to experienced workers for training
• Observe work and ensure that operators conform to production or processing standards
• Motivate and manage a large group of employees
• Interpret specifications, job orders, and company policies and procedures for workers

The applicant who fills this position will be eligible for the following compensation and benefits:

• Benefits: Vision, Medical, and Dental coverage begin after 60 days of employment;
• Paid Time off: sick leave, vacation and 6 company observed holidays;
• 401(k): eligible after the 1st day of employment including company match which begins after the first year of service and follows the company vesting schedule
• Base salary range of $60,500 - $81,700
• This position is eligible to participate in the Company’s annual bonus plan; the amount of bonus varies and is subject to the standard terms and conditions of the incentive program;
