Job summary

Cloud Storage Corporation, a reseller of server components and computer hardware, seeks a Shipping Specialist in Hays, Kansas. This part-time role requires a minimum of 20 hours per week; non-exempt status; typical hours 8:30am–5:30pm, Monday–Friday.

Training provided for product knowledge and software. You will process shipments for sales orders, create labels, verify inventory, and assist with inventory duties.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Review customer requests and process shipments for sales orders.
• Determine shipment method based on routes and rates.
• Create shipping labels and scan serial numbers.
• Communicate shipment changes to orders and coordinate with carriers.
• Verify inventory against stock counts and adjust as needed.
• Maintain shipping supplies and inventory data in the system.
• Keep a safe, clean organized work area and assist with duties as assigned.

Shipping Specialist Part-time position: Minimum of 20 hours per week
Status: Non-exempt
Business Hours: 8:30am - 5:30pm | Monday - Friday
Location: Hays, Kansas

Hourly rate is $14.00-$19.00 depend on experience.

Technical background is NOTrequired. We will provide training for product knowledge and job related softwares.

The Shipping Specialist processes shipments for sales orders and ensures the correct items are shipped out to customers. This position also assists other inventory duties as assigned.

Primary Responsibilities

• Review customer requests and process shipment for sales orders
• Determine method of shipment utilizing knowledge of shipping procedures, routes, and rates
• Create shipping labels and scan serial numbers.
• Responsible for execution and communication of shipping changes to orders and contacting carriers to resolve issues
• Verify inventory computations by comparing them to physical counts of stock and report/adjust errors
• Maintain and organize shipping supplies
• Maintain shipment and transaction data in the company inventory system
• Maintain safe, clean, organized work environment and inventory
• Perform other duties as assigned
