Vanderlande in Georgia seeks a Physical Distribution Employee I to safely prepare, organize, and load materials for shipment in a fast-paced warehouse. You will follow procedures to ensure accuracy and timely delivery of customer orders and project materials.

In this role, you will perform audits and inventory checks, build pallets, and document shipments while supporting safety and quality standards and participating in continuous improvement efforts and team training.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years in shipping or warehouse operations.
• Ability to operate forklifts safely and efficiently.
• Strong attention to detail and safety.
• Basic computer skills with shipping or warehouse management systems.

Responsabilités

• Prepare, pick, count, stage, package, and organize materials for shipment.
• Build, secure, and prepare pallets while ensuring safety and quality standards.
• Load and unload trucks safely and efficiently with proper weight distribution.
• Perform shipping audits, inventory verification, and shipment documentation.
• Create shipment records and track outbound materials using company systems.
• Operate forklifts and other material-handling equipment safely.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and train team members on procedures.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment following safety policies.
