Job summary

Vanderlande is seeking a Physical Distribution Employee in Georgia to manage receiving, journaling, packaging, storage, movement and loading of goods in a fast-paced warehouse. The role may be performed alone or as part of a team, with a focus on accuracy, safety, and timely shipment.

Ideal candidates hold a high school diploma, a valid driver’s license, and at least one year of warehouse and forklift experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid state driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Minimum of one (1) year of warehouse experience.
• Minimum of one (1) year of forklift operator experience.
• Forklift Operator Certification (preferred).
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (preferred).
• Basic mechanical knowledge; mechanical aptitude is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Receive, journal, package, store, move and load/unload goods.
• Operate sit-down and/or stand-up forklifts and follow inbound/outbound processes.
• Conduct cycle counts and other inventory-related activities.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Follow all safety rules, regulations, and procedures.
