Job summary

Vanderlande in the United States is seeking a Physical Distribution Employee II to support warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, movement, and shipment of materials and equipment, while ensuring accuracy and safety.

In this fast-paced role you will perform forklift loading/unloading, conduct cycle counts, coordinate with Supply Chain and Shipping teams, maintain clean work areas, and help meet project requirements with reliability and efficiency.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent is required.
• Minimum of 1 year of warehouse, logistics, distribution, or material handling experience.
• Minimum of 1 year of forklift operating experience.
• Valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record.
• Ability to safely lift and move materials and work in a physically demanding environment.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Basic computer skills and ability to learn warehouse management systems.

Responsibilities

• Receive, identify, store, move, pick, package, and ship materials in accordance with established procedures.
• Support inbound, outbound, and reverse logistics processes while ensuring inventory accuracy.
• Perform loading and unloading activities using material handling equipment, including forklifts.
• Monitor project-related materials and outbound shipments, coordinating with Supply Chain, Shipping, and Forwarding teams as required.
• Perform cycle counts and inventory control activities to maintain accurate stock records.
• Utilize company systems and software tools to track inventory and outbound project requirements.
• Ensure goods are properly identified, packaged, and documented prior to shipment.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment while complying with all safety regulations and procedures.
