Job summary

Fedtech Inc. is seeking a Shipping Clerk to prepare, package, and coordinate outbound shipments from the manufacturing facility. You will handle labeling, documentation, and carrier pickups to ensure on-time, accurate deliveries aligned with customer specs.

The role requires 1+ year in shipping/logistics, forklift certification or ability to obtain one, and familiarity with ERP systems. You will work with production and customer service to maintain safe, efficient shipping operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
• 1+ year of shipping, logistics, or warehouse operations experience.
• Basic knowledge of shipping platforms (UPS, FedEx, LTL).
• Familiarity with ERP or warehouse systems (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, etc.).
• Forklift certification or ability to obtain one.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Basic computer skills and ability to complete paperwork accurately.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and package manufactured products for shipment, ensuring proper labeling and documentation.
• Generate and manage shipping paperwork, including bills of lading, packing slips, and shipping labels.
• Schedule and coordinate daily pickups with freight carriers (LTL, FTL, small parcel).
• Verify outgoing shipments for accuracy, damage, and order completeness.
• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment to move products safely.
• Record shipment data in the ERP or warehouse management system (WMS).
• Communicate with production, inventory, and customer service teams to ensure shipping timelines are met.
• Maintain compliance with all safety procedures, company policies, and shipping regulations.
• Keep the shipping area clean, organized, and safe at all times.
