• Provide customer service support for purchase order entry as needed.

Shipping & Receiving is seeking a reliable, detail‑oriented Packager/Operations Support person. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands‑on work, can follow a mix of written and verbal on‑the‑job instructions, and is comfortable learning a small set of repeatable processes. With only about eight major part types to master, the right candidate will quickly become proficient and play a key role in daily operations.

This position offers a blend of physical tasks, electronic transaction work, and long‑term opportunities to grow into customer service, logistics coordination, and process documentation.

Key Qualifications

• Ability to accurately follow both written and on‑the‑job instructions
• Comfortable learning basic electronic transaction processes (computer‑based entries)
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to double‑check work

• Willingness to support multiple departments as needed

Primary Responsibilities (Short Term)

• Perform all aspects of shipping and receiving, including:
  • Bulk packing (approximately 50% of the time, focused on four main types)
  • Electronic transaction entries
  • Labeling
  • Visual sorting and screening
  • Completing or overseeing U.S. Customs and ACE regulatory filings
• Provide manufacturing operator support to the secondary operations department

Longer-Term / Growth Responsibilities

• Assist with updating and maintaining work instructions
• Operate a forklift as needed (minimal usage)
• Support outside transportation and subcontractor logistics, including:
  • Transportation quoting support
  • Palletizing and packing (backup support)
  • Subcontractor pickups (backup support)
• Provide customer service support for purchase order entry as departmental needs grow
