Job summary

Diamond is hiring a Shipping Specialist to ensure timely processing and accuracy of outbound shipments. You will handle parcel, freight, and international shipments, prepare necessary paperwork, and coordinate delivery appointments.

The role requires at least one year in shipping/receiving, familiarity with ERP systems, and forklift experience. You will work in a temperature-controlled manufacturing environment with a focus on safety and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year shipping/receiving experience.
• Proficient with PC software, ERP systems, label printing and Microsoft Office.
• Able to communicate clearly via phone and email.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and ship outbound orders, including parcel, freight, and international shipments.
• Complete all paperwork for shipments accurately.

• Operate forklifts and electric pallet jacks when required.
• Maintain records and data in ERP and MS Office.

Job Summary:

The Shipping Specialist is responsible for ensuring the needs of the internal and external customers are being met. The specialist will prepare products for shipment and ship all outbound shipments including regular parcel, freight and international. This position works 7:00am-3:00pm.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Prepare and ship all outbound shipments including parcel, freight, and international
• Accurately complete all necessary paperwork for all outbound shipments
• Take calls and setup delivery appointments for all outbound shipments
• Follow and adhere to all company and customer shipping instructions, policies, and procedures
• Load and unload delivery trucks
• Maintain accurate data entry and records in the system per company policies
• Maintain and file documents and paperwork per company policies
• Process outgoing shipments using UPS, FedEx and other various shipping software and/or customer portals
• Prepare all outbound pallets for shipment including finishing, wrapping, and palletizing of product
• Work internally with other departments to ensure shipping deadlines are met
• Operate powered industrial trucks including forklifts, powered jacks, etc.
• Utilize computer systems, ERP software, and Microsoft Office software including email, word, excel.
• Assist Receiving as needed
• Maintain a clean and safe environment
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• A minimum of one (1) year experience working in shipping/receiving
• Knowledge of PC and database programs; experience working with an internal ERP system, printing labels, word processing, and spreadsheets
• Ability to effectively communicate verbally and via email
• Basic measuring skills and visual quality inspection of incoming material
• Knowledge of domestic and international shipping
• Experienced in operating a Forklift and electric pallet jacks
• Experience working with FedEx Ship Manger and UPS WorldShip
