Job summary

Interwest Safety Supply in Provo, UT is seeking a Shipping and Receiving Clerk to support warehouse operations. You will receive, verify, and store incoming materials; pick, pack, and stage outbound orders; and maintain accurate inventory records under the Warehouse Manager.

This full-time, non-exempt role requires operating forklifts after training, following safety protocols, and coordinating with Dispatch, Purchasing, and Customer Service to meet daily shipping deadlines.

Qualifications

• Attention to detail to read and compare POs, packing slips, and BOLs.
• Able to safely operate warehouse machinery after training.
• Maintain accurate inventory counts and proper labeling/storage.

Responsibilities

• Unload inbound trucks using pallet jacks and forklifts.
• Verify quantities, part numbers, and condition of materials.
• Enter receipts into the inventory system and store materials.
• Label, organize, and put away received materials.
• Pick, pack, and stage outbound orders; verify against packing slips.
• Prepare shipments and bills of lading; load trucks.
• Maintain inventory accuracy and participate in cycle counts.
• Follow safety protocols and PPE requirements.
