Job Description

1. Support Environmental Health & Safety for the facility, following all current policies and procedures, and strive to improve the Environmental Health and Safety performance of our facility.
2. Provide all departments with needed materials in a timely manner.
3. Move, locate, and stage all finished goods, raw materials, work-in-progress, and supplies to the warehouse or manufacturing departments, ensuring they are organized to prevent damage or contamination.
4. Properly identify materials with Handling Unit (HU) and skid tags, verifying that tags match the materials.
5. Ensure materials are properly located and moved physically and electronically.
6. Accurately document all material and supply transactions manually and electronically.
7. Load or unload trailers/containers as needed.
8. Manage waste rolls and scrap, moving waste to compactors or recycling staging areas, gathering and baling loose junk or startup rolls, loading scrap trailers, and recording weights.
9. Perform cycle counts as needed.
10. Empty pallets from presses, gather, and neatly stack outside.
11. Run material staging reports in SAP or RF applications, scanning materials to the proper location and distributing them by FIFO.
12. Gather and bale loose scrap from presses and slitters.
13. Assist outside their immediate area of responsibility when needed.
14. Assist in physical inventories.
