Job summary

Interstate Assembly Systems in Surprise, AZ is seeking a Warehouse Associate to handle shipping and receiving, material handling, and inventory tasks. You will verify shipments, document processes, and coordinate with production to keep materials moving.

The role requires lifting up to 50 lbs, experience in a fast-paced environment, and proficiency with Microsoft Office. Forklift experience and Lean exposure are a plus. Full-time daytime schedule is provided.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Experience in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience with Lean methodologies preferred.
• Experience in shipping/receiving, inventory, warehouse, or related field.
• Experience with material handling equipment such as forklifts & Reach lifts.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to lift 25–50 lbs routinely; occasionally over 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Receive incoming materials and prepare outgoing shipments.
• Verify parts, quantities, and paperwork before materials are received or shipped.
• Inspect incoming shipments for obvious damage or discrepancies.
• Prepare and maintain accurate shipping and receiving documentation.
• Enter and retrieve information using shipping, inventory, and other computer systems.
• Use carrier software and other shipping programs as required.
• Operate a forklift to safely load, unload, and move materials.
• Coordinate with production and other departments to keep materials moving.
• Identify and resolve discrepancies before shipments leave the facility.
• Communicate professionally with drivers, vendors, customers, and visitors.
• Prioritize multiple shipments, deliveries, and production requests throughout the day.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized Shipping/Receiving area.
• Follow established safety, quality, and shipping procedures.
