Job summary

Cleanslate is seeking a Shipping & Receiving Warehouse Associate to join our Rahway, NJ team. The role involves receiving shipments, picking and packing orders, and maintaining accurate inventory in a fast-paced, safety‑conscious warehouse. The ideal candidate is detail‑oriented, reliable, and able to lift up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of warehouse, shipping/receiving, or logistics experience preferred.
• Ability to lift and move materials up to 50 lbs.
• Forklift certification is a plus.
• Must have a valid and clean driver’s license.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments for accuracy and quality.
• Unload deliveries and store materials in designated locations.
• Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment.
• Load outbound shipments and complete all required documentation and securing of products.
• Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts and hand trucks safely.
• Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards.
• Assist with labeling, packaging, and staging of products for shipment.
• Communicate with team members to ensure smooth workflow and timely order fulfillment.
• Report discrepancies related to orders or inventory to management promptly.
• Rotate trucks at docks during loading and securing payloads.
• Follow all company procedures and safety guidelines.

The Shipping & Receiving Warehouse Associate is responsible for handling the day-to-day movement of goods within the warehouse, including receiving incoming shipments, preparing outbound orders, and maintaining accurate inventory records.

This role plays a critical part in ensuring products are received, stored, and shipped efficiently and accurately. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, reliable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced warehouse environment with a strong focus on safety and organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments for accuracy and quality.
• Unload deliveries and properly store materials in designated warehouse locations.
• Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment according to company standards.
• Load outbound shipments and ensure proper documentation is completed along with proper strapping and securing of product.
• Safely and properly operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
• Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards.
• Assist with labeling, packaging, and staging of products for shipment.
• Communicate with team members to ensure smooth workflow and timely order fulfillment.
• Report any discrepancies, related to orders or inventory to management promptly.
• Report to management and move out of inventory any product with damages or issues.Rotate Trucks in docks as they are loaded and payloads are secured.
• Follow all company procedures and safety guidelines

Qualifications

• 1'3 years of warehouse, shipping/receiving, or logistics experience preferred
• Ability to lift and move materials up to 50 lbs.
• Experience operating warehouse equipment (forklift certification a plus)
• Must have a valid and clean driver's license
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, physically active environment
• Basic computer skills for inventory tracking and data entry
• Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn

Schedule

• Monday ' Friday 10AM-6PM
• On-site (Rahway, NJ)

Pay:

$18-$20 per hour based on experience
