Job summary

Cleanslate-Group is seeking a Shipping & Receiving Warehouse Associate for our Rahway, NJ facility. You will manage daily goods movement, receiving shipments, and preparing outbound orders with accuracy and safety in mind.

The role emphasizes detail orientation, reliability, and the ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment while maintaining organized inventory and compliance with safety procedures.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of warehouse/shipping/receiving experience preferred.
• Ability to lift and move materials up to 50 lbs.
• Valid driver’s license and safe driving record required.
• Experience operating warehouse equipment; forklift certification a plus.
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and reliability in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic computer skills for inventory tracking and data entry.

Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments for accuracy and quality.
• Unload deliveries and store materials in designated locations.
• Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment according to standards.
• Load outbound shipments and complete documentation with proper securing.
• Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
• Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards.
• Assist with labeling, packaging, and staging of products for shipment.
• Communicate with team members to ensure smooth workflow and timely order fulfillment.
• Report discrepancies related to orders or inventory to management promptly.
• Rotate trucks in docks as loaded and payloads are secured; follow safety guidelines.

Position Summary

The Shipping & Receiving Warehouse Associate is responsible for handling the day-to-day movement of goods within the warehouse, including receiving incoming shipments, preparing outbound orders, and maintaining accurate inventory records.

This role plays a critical part in ensuring products are received, stored, and shipped efficiently and accurately. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, reliable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced warehouse environment with a strong focus on safety and organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments for accuracy and quality.
• Unload deliveries and properly store materials in designated warehouse locations.
• Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment according to company standards.
• Load outbound shipments and ensure proper documentation is completed along with proper strapping and securing of product.
• Safely and properly operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
• Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards.
• Assist with labeling, packaging, and staging of products for shipment.
• Communicate with team members to ensure smooth workflow and timely order fulfillment.
• Report any discrepancies, related to orders or inventory to management promptly.
• Report to management and move out of inventory any product with damages or issues.
• Rotate Trucks in docks as they are loaded and payloads are secured.
• Follow all company procedures and safety guidelines

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of warehouse, shipping/receiving, or logistics experience preferred
• Ability to lift and move materials up to 50 lbs.
• Experience operating warehouse equipment (forklift certification a plus)
• Must have a valid and clean driver's license
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, physically active environment
• Basic computer skills for inventory tracking and data entry
• Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn

Schedule

• Monday - Friday 10AM-6PM
• On-site (Rahway, NJ)

Pay

$18-$20 per hour based on experience
