Job summary

EnPower, Inc. in Indianapolis, IN, seeks a Shipping & Receiving Technician to support efficient movement, storage, handling, and shipment of materials and products.

You will manage inbound shipments, outgoing orders, inventory movement, and shipping documentation while assisting packaging and preparation of finished goods. The ideal candidate is highly organized, safety-conscious, and comfortable in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, ensuring materials and customer products arrive and ship

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED; 2+ years in shipping/receiving or related.
• Experience handling outbound shipments for domestic/international including hazmat.
• Able to verify shipments, quantities, part numbers, and docs.
• Basic computer skills (email, spreadsheets, shipping systems).
• Forklift experience preferred.
• Strong organization and attention to detail.
• Able to follow written instructions and work independently or in a team.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Receive inbound materials and shipments; inspect for damage and accuracy.
• Label and store incoming materials in designated locations.
• Coordinate with Purchasing, Manufacturing, Engineering, Quality and others for inventory needs.
• Prepare outgoing shipments to suppliers, customers, and other locations.
• Ensure shipments are properly packaged, labeled, and documented per procedures and shipping requirements.
• Maintain packaging supplies and notify management when restocking is needed.
• Work with Manufacturing and Quality to ensure products are released for shipment.
• Maintain clean, safe shipping, receiving, warehouse, and storage areas.
