Job summary

Ryder is hiring a Permanent Full Time Warehouse Shipping and Receiving Technician in Plainfield, Illinois. The role offers hourly pay of $21.50 with an additional $0.50 per hour on weekends. Schedule is Tuesday to Saturday, 6:00 am to 2:30 pm, with flexibility.

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Excellent PC skills in MS Office; SAP and WMS experience preferred.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Some positions may require additional background checks.

Responsibilities

• Check truck drivers in and out.
• Coordinate inbound and outbound loads.
• Assign dock doors for inbound/outbound activity.
• Verify the accuracy of shipping and receiving documentation.
• Partner with the inventory department to resolve discrepancies.
• Assist in appointment scheduling as needed.
• Update required reports on a timely basis.
• Communicate with customers and assist with customer needs.
• May be required to operate equipment and be equipment certified.
• Other duties as required or assigned.

Ryder is immediately hiring a Permanent Full Time Warehouse Shipping and Receiving Technician in Plainfield, Illinois

Warehouse Positions Pay Weekly

Hourly Pay: $21.50 per hour

Additional Pay: $0.50 per when working weekends

Schedule: Tuesday - Saturday 6:00 am - 2:30 pm, must be open to working flexible hours

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
