Job summary

Ryder is hiring full-time Warehouse Material Handlers in Bolingbrook, IL to join a safety-driven supply chain team. You will operate stand up reach trucks and forklifts, perform picking, packing, shipping and cycle counting.

Shift: 2nd, 2:30pm–11:00pm with a $1.00 per hour premium; schedule: Monday–Friday. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) with match, paid time off, and weekly pay. Training provided; diverse, inclusive work environment emphasizes safety and career growth.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• One year or more related warehouse and/or powered industrial truck experience preferred.
• Valid Forklift Operator's License certified.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as a team member.
• Detail oriented with excellent follow-up practices.

Responsibilities

• Perform warehouse functions including loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving and forklift operation.
• Audit, tote induction, staging of products and loading/unloading of trucks.
• Handle day-to-day paperwork (picking sheets, returns, bills of lading).
• Provide maintenance support for automated packing systems during core shift hours.
• Work within contract performance measurement guidelines.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Warehouse Positions Pay Weekly

• Hourly Pay $20.00 per hour
• Shift Premium: $1.00 per hour when working 2nd shift
• Schedule: Monday - Friday
• Second shift 2:30pm - 11:00pm

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• One (1) year or more related warehouse and/or powered industrial truck experience preferred
• Valid Forklift Operator'S License certified

Responsibilities

• Performing duties within performance measurement guidelines of the contract
• Responsible for the accurate picking and packing, auditing, tote induction, staging of products and loading and unloading of trucks
• Responsible of dealing with day to day paperwork in a warehouse environment (i.e. picking sheets, returns, bills of lading, etc.)
• Provide technical and maintenance support for different aspects related to the automated packing system during the core shift hour of production
• Performing duties within performance measurement guidelines of the contract
• Performs other duties as assigned.
