Job Details

Position: Shipping & Receiving Tech Team Member

Starting pay: $19.25 per hour with $19.50/hour shift differential.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

1. Ensure the effective and timely completion of all shipping functions in accordance with policies and procedures.
2. Complete and maintain shipping paperwork, files, and records accurately and promptly.
3. Ensure accurate and timely completion of all receiving functions, including documentation in accordance with USDA, SQF, customer, and company policies.
4. Establish and maintain good communication and coordination with company personnel and management.
5. Load and unload trucks as required.
6. Operate a forklift safely and effectively.
7. Possess driving experience, including yard trucks.
8. Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift, push, pull up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, stoop, crouch, kneel intermittently.
• Normal hearing ability to understand conversations and receive information.
• Frequent use of wrists, hands, and fingers.
• Visual acuity to inspect documents and operate machinery.
• Lift/move up to 10 lbs regularly, up to 25 lbs frequently, and up to 50 lbs occasionally.

Work Environment

Work in a cold, damp environment with temperatures around 34°F for extended periods.
