Job summary

ADP, Inc. is seeking a Shipping/Receiving Supervisor (Frozen/Cool) to lead the day-to-day activities of the warehouse's frozen/cool side, reporting to the Shipping and Receiving Manager.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years Supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Computer proficient.
• Detailed knowledge of the entire manufacturing process.
• Ability to problem solve, multi-task, and communicate effectively with both subordinates as well as senior management.

Responsibilities

• Management of inbound receipts and outbound freight.
• Review Bills of Lading and orders and other records to determine shipping priorities, work assignments and shipping methods required to meet shipping and receiving schedules.
• Inventory accuracy and efficient management of warehouse area.
• Assist in maintaining accuracy of inventory levels.
• Supervise the daily operations of Shipping and Receiving staff in an efficient and cost-effective manner.
• Interface with scheduling and production activities.
• Oversee the implementation of the Shipping and Receiving Dept. SOP’s.
• Maintain and support on-going training programs.
• Ensure that all employees maintain a clean and safe working environment following all company safety policies and OSHA regulations.
• Generate Bill of Ladings for shipments.
• Perform inventory audits as needed.
• Pull finished products as required to fill orders, as well as rotating products
