Job summary

Custom Patch Hats in Raleigh, NC is seeking a Receiving Lead to supervise daily operations in the Receiving department. You will ensure all incoming inventory, raw materials, and shipments are unloaded, inspected, logged, and routed accurately and safely.

Responsibilities include training staff, maintaining inventory accuracy, enforcing safety, and collaborating with supervisors. Candidates should have a high school diploma and at least two years in warehousing, plus experience with inventory

Work Location: Warehouse in Raleigh, NC

Job Summary: Receiving Lead oversees the daily operations in the receiving department. Ensuring all incoming inventory, raw materials, and shipments are unloaded, inspected, logged, and routed accurately and safely.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Oversee receiving and other warehouse processes and personnel to make sure work meets quality standards and is performed according to established procedures.
• Provide training of current and new employees in all appropriate procedures and processes required to complete work assignments.
• Perform inventory controls and keep quality standards high for audits.
• Keep a clean and safe working environment and optimize space utilization.
• Complete inventory transactions to receive, assign location and issue inventory as required.
• Report any discrepancies.
• Communicate and cooperate with supervisors and coworkers.
• Operate and maintain preventively warehouse vehicles and equipment.
• Follow quality service standards and comply with procedures, rules, and regulations.

Physical demands:

• Walk and stand for long periods of time
• Lift, push and/or pull up to 50 pounds

Requirements

Required Education and Experience: High school diploma and at least 2 year of experience as a Warehouse Worker, preferably commercial. Good attention to detail. Work effectively in a team environment. Proficiency in inventory software, databases and systems. Familiarity with modern warehousing practices and methods.

Schedule: The hours of operation are Monday through Friday, 8:30 am until 5:30 pm.
