Job summary

Superior Roof Metals in San Jose, CA is seeking a Shipping & Receiving Associate to load and unload shipments, organize materials, and accurately pull and prepare customer orders while maintaining precise documentation.

Responsibilities include operating a forklift (certification required or company training provided), coordinating with production and customer service, and ensuring safety, efficiency, and up-to-date paperwork.

Qualifications

• 1+ year forklift operation experience preferred.
• 2+ years warehouse experience preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Forklift certification preferred or willing to be trained.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Unload/load shipments and store/organize materials.
• Confirm accuracy of shipments and pick orders for local customers.
• Review will calls with customers and have them sign shipping documents.
• Maintain complete paperwork and ensure information accuracy.
• Provide the highest level of customer service to all customers.
• Pull orders in a timely manner and package for loading.
• Operate forklift (certification required; company will assist the right person).
• Coordinate with production and customer service to resolve problems.
