Job summary

Persona AI Inc. in Houston, TX, is hiring a Shipping and Receiving Clerk to manage the flow of parts and equipment into and out of our facility. You will verify, log, and expedite incoming materials while preparing outbound shipments to customers and partners in the U.S. and abroad.

You will work with Procurement, Engineering, and Operations to flag shortages and ensure accurate inventory, while handling hazardous materials safely and maintaining a clean, organized receiving dock.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• 3-5 years in shipping, receiving, warehouse, or logistics in a technical environment.
• Experience with inventory management or ERP systems and standard office tools.
• Familiarity with carrier platforms (FedEx, UPS, DHL) and freight/LTL shipping.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Receive incoming shipments, verify contents, inspect for damage or discrepancies.
• Log items in inventory or ERP and route to the right team.
• Pick, pack, crate, and label outbound shipments including high‑value items.
• Prepare shipping documents for domestic and international shipments.
• Coordinate with carriers; track shipments and resolve delays.
• Maintain accurate inventory through cycle counts and storage.
• Flag shortages/backorders with Procurement, Engineering, and Operations.
• Handle and store hazardous materials per safety rules.
