Job summary

ASCO Equipment in South Houston, Texas is seeking a Warehouse Clerk - Shipping/Receiving Specialist. You will support the parts department by handling shipping, receiving, inventory records, and returns.

This role requires attention to detail and the ability to move materials efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities include receiving shipments, inspecting items, packing, labeling, and coordinating with drivers for pickups and deliveries.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience as Warehouse Specialist or in a similar role.
• Detail oriented with good time management and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication skills, initiative and follow through.
• Proficient computer skills and experience with tracking and shipping programs.
• Able to lift at least 50 lbs.
• Acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Receive daily shipments and maintain clear records.
• Unpack, inspect, and route incoming shipments.
• Match orders with packing slips accurately.
• Operate lift trucks/hand trucks to move materials.
• Move materials and assist with pickups/deliveries using company vehicle.
