Job summary

Avery Dennison Corporation is seeking a Shipper/Receiver at its Mentor, Ohio distribution center. The role focuses on pulling and packing orders (LTL/UPS and international) using RF scanners, with safety and accuracy as top priorities.

The position operates Monday–Friday with standard hours to be determined; starting pay is $22.47 per hour. Cross-training across shipping tasks and team collaboration are emphasized to meet service goals.

Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma or GED or 3+ years manufacturing experience.
• Excellent attendance records required.
• Positive attitude and good conduct essential.
• Effective communication skills (written, verbal) required.
• Ability to multitask with accuracy and responsiveness.
• Ability to obtain a tow motor license.
• Experience with Oracle WMS and Windows software.

Responsibilities

• Pull, pick and pack LTL/UPS and international orders using RF scanners.
• Promote safety and follow EHS policies and procedures.
• Meet shipping goals and customer service standards.
• Work individually and in a team to achieve objectives.
• Maintain organized warehouse and accurate stock locations.
• Suggest improvements to safety, quality and productivity.
