Job summary

Avery Dennison is seeking a Shipping and Receiving Coordinator to manage material movement in a fast-paced facility. You will load/unload trucks, verify materials, and document movements in our inventory system.

This role supports accuracy, safety, and teamwork on the on-site shift. The position requires a high school diploma (or equivalent) and forklift certification, with preferred 3–5 years of manufacturing experience.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or 3+ years of relevant manufacturing experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Organizational and customer service abilities.
• Working knowledge of computers and business software including Oracle, Telnet, OTM, Google Docs, and Lotus Notes.
• Safety-conscious with team collaboration.
• Forklift license required.

Responsibilities

• Move materials to raw, WIP, finished, shipping, receiving, and manufacturing areas.
• Unload/load trucks and verify materials against documents.
• Document movement of materials in the Inventory Management System.
• Support inventory accuracy with warehouse and rack inventories and cycle counts.
• Coordinate with teams to meet dispatch times and maintain 5-S and recycling programs.
• Assist in reducing waste and improving process efficiency.
