Job summary
Express Employment Professionals - Cincinnati East in Painesville, OH is seeking a dependable Shipping & Receiving Associate to handle incoming materials and outgoing shipments within a busy manufacturing operation.
Responsibilities include verifying quantities, labels, and shipping docs, moving materials, and maintaining accurate records. The role operates on a Monday–Friday 1st shift, in a stable manufacturing environment with opportunities to gain warehouse experience.
Qualifications
- Experience in shipping/receiving or warehouse operations preferred.
- Ability to lift, carry and move materials during the day.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Reliable attendance and dependable work habits.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Responsibilities
- Receive, inspect, and verify incoming materials and shipments.
- Prepare materials and products for shipment.
- Load and unload trucks safely.
- Verify quantities, labels, and shipping documentation.
- Move and organize materials throughout the facility.
- Maintain accurate inventory and shipping/receiving records.
- Operate material-handling equipment as needed.
- Keep the shipping and receiving area clean and organized.
- Follow all safety procedures and company policies.
