ThyssenKrupp Materials NA, Inc. is hiring a Shipping and Receiving Clerk for 1st shift in Wallingford, CT. The role focuses on accurate entry of materials into inventory, proper packaging, and timely processing of shipments and returns.

You will handle shipments, bills of lading, and invoices, ensuring compliance and smooth operations. The position requires high school diploma or equivalent, strong math and computer skills, and experience in warehouse operations including forklift use.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Basic math, reading, and computer skills required.
• Experience in warehouse including forklift operation, packing, and measuring is preferred.
• Familiarity with metals/material handling is a plus.
• Safety-first mindset with basic knowledge of first aid/CPR.
• Exposure to SAP, ISO standards, or Lean practices is a strong plus.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate records of all incoming and outgoing shipments.
• Safely and properly package materials for shipment according to company standards.
• Process items for delivery using shipping notices, bills of lading, invoices, and orders.
• Determine shipping methods, priorities, and schedules using routes and rates knowledge.
• Review international shipping documentation for compliance with regulations.
• Follow safety policies and report incidents immediately.
