Job summary

Flex is seeking a Shipping & Receiving Material Handler in Manchester, CT to support our production and logistics teams. Reporting to the Warehouse Supervisor, you will handle material movement, prepare shipments, and help maintain accurate inventory.

You will operate forklifts and pallet jacks, document movements, inspect equipment, and ensure safety and regulatory compliance in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Additional education in Logistics, Supply Chain, Operations, or a related technical field is a plus.
• Previous warehouse, manufacturing, distribution, or operations experience preferred.
• Experience operating forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material-handling equipment preferred.
• Knowledge of inventory management systems, such as SAP, is preferred.
• Understanding of industry regulations and compliance requirements, including cGMP environments, is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Move materials to storage areas and production lines using forklifts, pallet jacks, hand trucks, and other material-handling equipment.
• Organize and maintain inventory, including recording material locations and conducting cycle counts.
• Prepare materials and products for shipment.
• Accurately document material movements and inventory transactions according to company procedures.
• Operate warehouse equipment safely and efficiently.
• Inspect and maintain material-handling equipment and report maintenance needs.
• Ensure compliance with all safety procedures, company policies, and applicable regulations.
• Troubleshoot shipping issues and assist with resolving inventory discrepancies.
• Address and resolve issues related to shipping, receiving, and inventory handling.
• Collaborate with production, warehouse, quality, and logistics teams to ensure smooth operations.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
