Job summary

Joined Alloys, a precision manufacturing company in Phoenix, AZ, is seeking a Shipping & Receiving Associate - Driver to handle outbound shipments, inspect incoming materials, and perform local deliveries. This hands-on role supports production logistics and customer service with accuracy and efficiency.

You will operate company vehicles, use forklifts, and coordinate with vendors while maintaining compliant records.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in shipping, receiving, warehouse operations, delivery driving, or a related position.
• Valid driver's license and ability to meet company driving eligibility requirements.
• Ability to safely operate a company vehicle for local deliveries and pickups.
• Basic computer skills and ability to learn shipping software and customer portals.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy when handling parts, shipments, and documentation.
• Ability to read and follow shipping instructions, purchase orders, and work procedures.
• Good organizational and time-management skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Dependable attendance and a strong commitment to safety and customer service.

Responsibilities

• Shipping & Receiving: Prepare, package, label, and process outgoing shipments accurately and on time.
• Verify part numbers, quantities, shipping instructions, and customer requirements before shipment.
• Process domestic and international shipments using UPS, FedEx, USPS, freight carriers, and other shipping methods.
• Prepare shipping documents, packing slips, bills of lading, and other required paperwork.
• Navigate customer portals and shipping systems to process orders and meet customer requirements.
• Coordinate freight pickups and deliveries with transportation companies.
• Receive, inspect, and verify incoming materials, tooling, hardware, supplies, and outside-processed parts against purchase orders and shipping documentation.
• Accurately record receiving transactions and maintain organized shipping and receiving records.
• Identify and report shipping discrepancies, damaged materials, or missing documentation.
