Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1–3 years of shipping/receiving or warehouse experience.
• Familiarity with inventory management systems.
• Basic computer skills and data entry capability.
• Good communication and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and process shipments, including packing, labelling, and documentation.
• Coordinate with carriers and schedule pickups and deliveries.
• Generate shipping labels and packing lists using company software.
• Ensure outgoing shipments meet company standards and customer requirements.
• Inspect and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders and packing slips.
• Record discrepancies or damages and report to the appropriate department.
• Unload, unpack and store received goods in the warehouse.
• Update inventory records and notify relevant departments of received items.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and conduct cycle counts.
• Prepare and submit reports on shipping and receiving status and discrepancies.
• Communicate shipment status and inquiries to internal and external customers.
• Adhere to safety protocols and operate warehouse equipment safely.
